Temporary or customised orthopaedic insoles that fit easily and securely within your footwear.
Orthotics are temporary or customised orthopaedic insoles that fit easily and securely within your footwear. Essentially these prescribed insoles can help to restore regular balance and pressure on muscles and joints. This results in reduced pain/discomfort which allows you to get on with things whether that be in daily life, work or sport.
Orthotics are useful to treat the symptoms of:
- Flat feet
- Plantar fasciitis
- Heel Spur
- Shin splints
- Knee pain
- Heel Spur
- Heel pain
- Ankle instability
What Does An Orthotics Assessment Involve?
Orthotic assessment is focused on the biomechanics of the foot and leg in standing and during walking. This is to determine whether orthotics would be of benefit to you. The methods used to make a pair of orthotics are through a Foam Box. We will also take into consideration your condition present, the sport you play or what your needs are. Orthotics are usually ready within 2 weeks.
Our Physios will also supplement this with a list of stretches and possibly some strengthening exercises.
