Massage

We have the necessary training and knowledge to get deep into the muscle layers to break down these adhesions and restore normal muscle function as well as relieving pain.

About Massaging

Our Chartered Physiotherapists are trained in a variety of different massage therapies and techniques but in short, our massage therapy involves applying deep pressure on concentrated areas of tension and pain. Generally, with muscle tension or an injury, there will be adhesions (areas of painful rigid tissue) in the muscle, ligament or tendon that cause pain and inflammation. Our Physiotherapists have the necessary training and knowledge to get deep into the muscle layers to break down these adhesions and restore normal muscle function as well as relieving pain.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is the use of massage for the treatment and prevention of sports injuries. Sports Massage helps in several ways such as releasing troublesome muscle tension, increase blood circulation & lymph flow, relieve swelling, reduce post activity fatigue, increase performance, promote flexibility and preventing future injuries.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of massage therapy that focuses on the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue in the body. Some of the same strokes as classic massage therapy may be used, but the movement is generally slower and the pressure will be deeper and concentrated on the areas where the patient feels tension and pain.
